Since 1930, Madison Community Services (MCS) has been dedicated to improving the lives of Madison residents facing hardship. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide food, care, and hope to those in need through the power of volunteers and community support. Through our collaboration with Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N), we distribute personal care items to families in need, ensuring they have the essentials to maintain their health and dignity.

A Legacy of Hope: The Story of Pauline Baldwin

The spirit of generosity lives on through the Pauline Baldwin Food Pantry. In 1994, Pauline Baldwin, a long-time Madison resident, left a bequest to feed the hungry in our community. Her connection with the Madison Lions Club, whose members assisted her during difficult times, inspired her to designate them as the beneficiary of her estate. Her incredible generosity laid the foundation for what has become the heart of Madison Community Services.

Today, her legacy continues to nourish families and support our neighbors in need. What began as a modest operation has grown into a vital community service, thanks to the ongoing support of volunteers, donors, and the Madison Lions Club. Together, we proudly carry on Pauline’s mission of caring for Madison’s most vulnerable residents.
